Without a standardized approach, API development was inconsistent and difficult to maintain across different platforms. Core business systems—Salesforce, JD Edwards, SAP Business One, and ServiceMax—were operating in silos, forcing employees to manually key data between systems. The lack of a unified integration tool meant obvious automation candidates were being handled through time-consuming manual processes, including a 45-minute workflow to convert a Salesforce Opportunity into a JD Edwards Sales Order.
Kinetico needed more than a tool—they needed a knowledgeable partner who could serve as an extension of their team. After evaluating MuleSoft and Boomi, they chose Magic Software because the platform natively supported all four of their core systems and Magic’s team brought deep expertise in JD Edwards, Salesforce, SAP Business One, and ServiceMax. Magic’s Strike Team deployed Magic xpi as Kinetico’s global API standard, developing integrations that automated the Salesforce Opportunity-to-JD Edwards Sales Order conversion, synchronized data between Salesforce and SAP Business One, and streamlined JD Edwards account record synchronization into Salesforce—all without requiring Kinetico to hire third-party integrators or build in-house API development resources.
